This thing we call life can really get out of hand if we allow it. Over the past week and a half I have renewed a friendship and lost that friendship again, had to confront someone I care about (man was that hard), and move from department to department at work. That was crazy!!!!!! It could have really been bad, but because I listened to God and followed what He said, it really was not that bad at all. I am so glad for that. As for the lost friendship, this person was not willing to be helped and is not open to what God has in store for them. Sometimes we allow superficial things cloud our minds and run from God, which is what this person admitted to doing. Strange for someone to actually admit they are running from God's plan. Anyway, I explained that I can only help if they have a willing heart, and desire to change and live the way God wants them to. All I can do now is pray for a change of heart for this person.

Confronting people has never been my strong suit. But, because God showed me what I needed to do, I had to be obedient. The situation was tense, but because I was honest and went in love, things are getting better.

I also led worship for the first time ever!!!!! I was asked to lead for a group that meets at our church. I was so nervous and satan really tried to get me down, but Praise God, it went very well.

I am so thankful that my Lord is so faithful to me even when I fail Him. It's amazing to me that He said He will "Never leave me or forsake me". We can't say that about other people because quite frankly, other people will always fail you or let you down. So I put my faith and trust in God, because I know that without a shadow of a doubt....HE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE!!!!!!!!!

I have learned a lot lately. God has really shown me some good things. I was listening to KVNE the other day (PRAISE JESUS it's back!!) and Dr's Les and Leslie Parrott were talking about ministry and finding the right one for you. Well, they were applying all of this to relationships, be it friends or otherwise. They said the best ministry you can be involved in with relationships is the ministry of presence. Just being there for one another!!! Wow! Just sitting and talking or listening or even watching a movie together. Even talking on the phone!!! I am amazed at how true that is!!!

So, I have been dealing with a bunch of different emotions lately. I noticed that I have distanced myself from God. BAD idea! That obviously did not make things any easier! But the funny thing is God got my attention in a big way, and I thank Him for that.

Right now I am seeking Him and His Will for my ministry, be it what it may. I am not sure what I should be doing right now, but I am trusting Him to show me. Wednesday night I ran Media Shout for LIFT services and while I was doing that God gave me some very helpful scripture. So I leave you with this and hope it touches you the way it did me. Have you ever gone out to eat with a bunch of friends, and just happen to run into someone you went out with? Ok Well that happened to me tonight. I went to eat with my friends and saw a guy that I had gone out with back in the summer. It was weird. So, I have 5 tests this week.......SPRING BREAK HURRY FAST!!!!!

I wonder who thought it was a good idea to make college students take Algebra? It took me 4 hours to do my homework last night. This is going to be a long semester!!!!!! Oh well! God is doing something amazing! A lady at work said these words to me, "Mitzie, It's all going to be worth it!". Reminds me of a song we sing at LIFT.
